This project was an experimentation with plastic materials, polystyrene and acrylic. I learned different ways to manipulate plastic, including vacuum forming, filing, and spray painting. The piece is worn as a brooch, with a double-pin stem that was hand-fabricated. The colored styrene pieces are interchangeable, so the wearer can customize the brooch.
