Faces and Places: Europe in Film

This series of photographs was completed throughout my semester in Rome, Italy. I traveled to many cities around Europe, and was interested in capturing the environments of these cities as well as the personalities of the people who live in them. By doing this, I was able to capture the small and special moments of my time spent abroad. At the same time, I was attentive to how the subjects fit the frame, and the way in which light impacted the image. These images were shot using a Canon AE1 and the negatives were developed in the darkroom at Temple University Rome.
