Dip-dyed Photopolymer, USB
Holder for spinning
This project was created for my Advanced CAD-CAM course. Students were required to create their own USB. I designed my piece using Rhino 5, and rendered with Flamingo nXt. The piece was printed using an Objet 3D printed, in a photopolymer material. After the piece was printed, I dip-dyed it using fabric dye to create the minty-green gradient. The USB is also to spin when placed on the specially-made base. Spring 2013.
